Line 6 M13 Multi-Effects Guitar Effect Pedal

A lot of bang for the buck!

I had the original line 6 rack modelers back in the day. I never loved them. But, I find that the M13 can sound really good through an amp, is flexible enough to server a lot of purposes connection-wise, is well made and it is a relative bargain. I bought M13 because for the money I got the looper I was looking for and a bunch of other useful stuff. Just the looper, delay and reverbs make it worthwhile. There is no iOS or PC-based editor like the ones available for a lot of more recent devices. Don't expect a lot from the wah effects even with an expression pedal. But, with some tweeking nearly everything else is useful

I had forgotten the visceral feeling of playing through a tube amp

Very flexible and well appointed amplifier. I bought it for its overall value and the fact that I can modify it since it is hand-wired. Recently I have been mostly playing through Fractal and Helix emulations. I had forgotten the visceral feeling of playing through a tube amp. This amp is loud! But you can dial in nice tones with the Master Volume. I also use an attenuator to lets the power tube "breath." You can hear feel the difference as you crank the amp.
