perfect candles
These are the best real plumber's candles I've seen in years. Not too skinny, not too fat, just right. It broke my little heart to see that there were no more available.

plastic
It's plastic. The one that came with my 1022 is metal, and will probably last forever, or nearly so. The trigger pull is a little lighter on this plastic one, but kind of creepy. Since plastic deteriorates with exposure to...the atmosphere, and becomes brittal, brittel, deteriorates, I expect the trigger to break off eventually. I expect the sear end of the trigger to wear out or snap off pretty soon.
