Does not get hot. Just gets warm.
5 of 5 found this helpful This is not the CHI flat iron I have come to love. I have had 4 or 5 CHI's over the years and love them. Have tried a couple brands in between and they do not compare to the CHI. If this had been my first I would have never bought another. This CHI iron does not get hot just warm. I cannot do my hair with a warm iron. I will be checking on the warranty to see if it can be covered for a malfunction.
