Old but packs a punch!
1 of 1 found this helpful The old Ivy Bridge core i7 3770 is ny no means a slow processer, even now by 2018 standards. You can easily pair it with the likes of a GTX 1070/1080 and enjoy high performance gaming.

Still a very powerful cpu.
Even though it is not the newest cpu there is still a lot of power in it. I upgraded from my i7 6900K to this i7 6950X and I don't regret it at all. Going from 8 cores and 16 threads to 10 cores and 20 threads gave a very nice boost in content creation applications. I managed to overclock the cpu from 3.0GHz to 4.2GHz with ease.
I am very much considering buying another one to upgrade the i7 5960X my wife is using.
