Good women’s watch for men.
This watch is billed as a women’s watch. In fact it’s 37mm size makes it suitable, ideal even, as a dressy piece for men. If you replace the strap with a leather item it looks smart and minimalistic. The case is fairly thick and traditional-looking, and the gold plating is nicely done. The lugs are drilled for easy strap changes.
Indiglo night light works well and it doesn’t tick too loudly, unlike the Timex Weekender.
All in all a good traditional-looking watch.

Samsung S2 was broke until...
... I bought this little circuit board thingy with a mini USB port on it.
Well not quite, the phone required some unscrewing and dismantling but it was easy to do with some guidance from the internet, an eyeglass, and outbursts of swearing.
I recommend this product as it was the perfect fix for a failed charging port and a much cheaper alternative than a new phone or expensive repair.

Good single pass medium shave, not as mild as Feather Popular but safe enough. Aluminium handle and pot metal pieces are crisply cast. Plenty of screw thread on blade-holder goes into handle for secure blade retention, an improvement over previous model. It feels much weightier, higher quality than the mk.1 version, and handle is easier to grip when wet.
This is a good quality razor, not just ideal for travel or for switching from brands beginning with G, but is easily good enough to be your only piece.
Lord blades as supplied are perfectly fine.
Both my old Lord razor and Feather Popular are now officially retired.
There is no need to spend more money for a good shave.
