A good guide for beginning Steiff collectors
As I'm a relative beginner when it comes to collecting Steiff's, I was looking for a guide with some basic information. For this, it's a good investment. Not much on the history but mainly photographs and the dates toys were issued. The photographs are of good quality but would have been more useful if they were in color. Perhaps a later issue would be printed in color. I never pay attention to the suggested price guides in this type of book as I usually find them of little use and outdated very quickly. The type is large and easy to read.
I especially like the four years of Steiff catalog pages reproduced with the original issue cost of each toy listed. Overall, a good book for beginners, especially if you can pick it up for a few dollars. I would have been disappointed if I had paid much more for it.

1 of 2 found this helpful The transaction was just fine but the book was some what of a disappointment. It's a large size book of nice quality with a total of just 32 pages. 15 of those are color,full page size posters printed on one side only so they could be framed without losing any of the written material or other pictures. The remainder of the book covers his history.I thought that the illustrations would deal more with fashion but there were very few of those. Most of them focused on holidays, kids and family. His illustrations are remarkable, I was just wishing had a different focus.

Don't let the name fool you!
2 of 2 found this helpful Halloween is a really lovely scent, light and charming and not at all over powering. I fell in love with it the first time that I put it on. It has drawn compliments and several requests as to what I was wearing - all in just a few days. So glad that I took a chance on trying it.
