Still a solid investment...
Great bang for the buck. It was top of the line just a short time ago, but it's still one of the better single card options from AMD/ATI. Out performs 6870 for around the same price. Best deal for ~ $200.
If you already have a 5870, pick up another for even better performance in crossfire. This setup will definitely continue to win "bang for the buck" for a while.
If you are looking to pick up a pair of new cards for crossfire, go with the newer 6870's, as they scale better in CF and offer even better Eyefinity options.

Great bang for the buck Super Wide-Angle fast lens.
3 of 3 found this helpful Finally able to capture some decent super wide photos of the milky way and stars, thanks to this lens. Good combo of wide and fast. Manual focus is not a big deal for landscape photos, especially with Sony's Focus Peaking feature enabled. Focus once, and don't worry about it.
Cons: Corner sharpness is less than ideal, as well as a bit of extra chroma when shooting wide open.
