Classic Rush album
'Permanent Waves' is a classic album from 1980, which isn't among my very favorite Rush albums, but it does contain radio staples "The Spirit of Radio" and "Freewill", the latter of which is one of the Rush songs that helped me become the huge fan I am. While you can hear both of these songs almost every day on classic rock radio, the sound of the CD is very good (especially the old West German CD issue I found), and I heard elements that I've never heard before. While the rest of the album isn't something I'll listen to often, those two track are worth the price of the CD to me.
