Takes a devastating illness and truly uses "wit" ,to express herself and deal with her life as it is now.

Music better than the movie!
1 of 1 found this helpful I actually did not care for the movie, but I really liked the sound track. When I purchased the "Magnolia" music CD, it did not disappoint! Aimee Mann's writing and voice are terrific.

Really?!
The book begins somewhat intriguing, there is a slight build in the middle, it continues... and continues with no major climactic event. The are moments of action, dispare, and trepidation. It was a lot like a wordy Lord of the Flies. But; a Nobel Literature Prize? Not in my opinion.
