Curly Girls, Unite!
Amazing book about how to take care of curly hair. Super curly or just lovely wavy, it's all in here. I constantly receive compliments on my hair since beginning this method 8 years ago. Truly, it is a wonderful reference for those with this type of hair, or for parents of children with curly hair. One caveat - there are a couple of testimonials that refer to adult situations (a lover, or an affair, something like that) that I wouldn't want my tween to read, so if you are a parent, read the book first and make your own decision. Aside from that, it's all good!

Nice set of pearls with personality!
I like to always wear a string of these while on vacation. They are classy enough for nice outings and funky enough to wear with a bikini. The price means you don't have to worry about losing them, getting sunscreen on them, forgetting them in a hotel somewhere or being too concerned if they get broken in a barroom cat fight. You know, vacation stuff...
