Real Value
Part was a perfect match for what I needed with the exception of the spark plug boot (which was expected). This was easily swapped out.
Part was in good condition with no rust or noticeable wear. Cost was about 1/3 of what a new one would have cost.
Shipping was prompt.

Great magnification and image stabilization for sharp pictures at a distance.
I had previously already had this lens so I knew it's capabilities. Great magnification, great auto focus and great image stabilization at maximum magnification. I also like the large diameter lens size so taking pictures in low light is still possible. I can take handheld pictures from 200', crop them to about 50% and still have sharp pictures. My only complaint is that that at maximum magnification and with the hood in place, it makes for a long lens, roughly 10" plus camera depth and there is no tripod mount for the lens and it gets a little front heavy as a result. That being said, if it was so bad I wouldn't have bought a replacement!

Mixed Bag.
2 of 2 found this helpful This product does what it says it will do, but it goes overboard in some ways and falls short in others. First off, a little history to justify my comments. 10+ years ago, I had a car where I had a scratch occur to the defrosting matrix on my back window. I found a product where you "painted" across the scratch with a compound using a little template. The compound came in a small bottle about like a fingernail polish. After it dried, the connection was reestablished and the defroster worked again. When I recently had this problem with a different car, I went to every auto parts store in the area and looked online to no avail. The only thing available was a kit to reattach the connecting tabs (where the wiring connects to the window) back to the glass. Finally, I found this Permatex kit which provides the necessary supplies I had before. HOWEVER, this kit also provides materials for fixing the tabs which is not needed. And, the quantity of the liquid compound to fix the scratched connection is very small, especially if applied as directed with up to 5 coats of the material. This is only enough for 1 or maybe two fixes. The bottle I had from years ago would have been enough for a dozen scratches, maybe more. If the repair compound was offered by itself and/or in a larger quantity, I would rate it as a 5. As it is, half the price went for something I didn't even use and didn't have enough of the stuff I did need. So, the product itself is good, but the value is very poor.
