Great CPU, even old & used
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a great CPU overall. A touch old now but greatly improved the performance of an older PC at approximately 1/3 the cost of a comparable new CPU. 4 cores & 8 threads gives plenty of performance for various programs to run simultaneously, combined with a 3.9GHz processing speed helps things like video editing & transcoding or gaming. While transcoding can use 90-100% of the CPU, most games use only 10-25% of the CPU.
