Not happy with this at all. I attempted to save a few bucks and am now stuck with this rivet tool. Admittedly I am new to modeling (after 30 years I am new again) so perhaps some of this is learning but the two things that jump out at me immediately were 1) the holder and guard actually obscure your view of the surface, so getting the tool to land on the line you draw is more difficult that it needs to be. 2) The wheel is so large that you can't get close to anything leaving that last 1/4 inch "unrivetted" ... 3) This may be practice, but even when using a straight edge, I find that the wheel tends to wander across the surface of the model. 4) ALso the wheels are floating and no case is provided. Not a HUGE deal but I would have thought that when selling a tool with several floating parts you would provide at least a cheap container to keep them in. Anyway, I can't afford the one I want so I will either figure this one out or learn to do rivets using a push pin ... but I would recommend that folks spend a little extra $$ and get a good riveting tool to start with. .
