Perfect longterm and inexpensive fix to a common problem
This is a direct replacement and a true upgrade to the original O-ring that has failed many BMW owners. The upgraded O-ring is slightly thicker and seals better than the OEM one. This additional thickness ensures that the O-ring stays in position and does not leak or blow out of position. I have checked my fuel pressure and level in both sides of the tank and have found the readings to be correct.
For those who have run out of fuel with the gauge showing 1/4 tank or higher, this is the most likely issue with your fuel system. I originally thought the fuel pump had failed because the fuel gauge showed over 1/4th tank yet I had no fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Therefore I changed the pump and filled up with fuel only to have the same issue as the level approached 1/4th tank of fuel. The OEM O-ring fails to seal and the pressurized fuel is leaked back in the tank away from the fuel pump. By installing this O-ring you will be eliminating this very common problem.
Because I own 2 X5's I will be replacing the one in my other X5 as a matter of preventative maintenance. I do recommend putting a small amount of light weight oil on the new O-ring prior to final assembly because this will ensure it stays in the factory groove and seals correctly. I also understand it is made from a newer ethanol resistant material which is a big plus for longevity.

My Milwaukee M12 works like new again.
This is a direct replacement for my M12 1/4" drive Milwaukee electric ratchet. My original anvil was worn out from abuse and many times would not tighten or loosen a mildly tight bolt/nut. I had tried oil, grease, graphite, and running the original dry in hopes of making it work but the only solution was to replace the anvil.
My Milwaukee Electric ratchet works like new again and has saved me a lot of time when working on projects. If your M12 is having trouble turning bolts, nuts, screws in one or both directions, I highly recommend replacing the anvil. And this one one works great.
The process to replace it was straight forward but did require a pair of snap ring pliers. Although it did not come with replacement instructions I quickly figured out that positioning the direction knob to midpoint was a key step. Then releasing the snap ring allowed the anvil to drop out the back side. Installation of the new anvil was a reverse of the disassembly with one exception. When installing the new snap ring you must push fairly strong on the ratchet head to get the anvil in its seated/final position so the snap ring will lock into its channel. There are videos online to help better describe the procedure.
Great product, I will be buying another as a spare soon.

Exact replacement and easy to install. It works GREAT!
This ice maker is an exact replacement for what was in my 12 year old fridge. It was easy to install and only took a few minutes. Everything lined up, plugged in, and a few hours after installation was complete ice was being dispensed. With 4 of us dispensing ice every day a functioning ice maker is a must. I am very happy.
