New old stock

The plugs that I received are fine and I'm sure that they'll perform as expected. It's just that they don't appear to be fresh stock. The finish is not like a new plug and look like New Old Stock.

The full description states that the lids are "Splash, Spill and LEAKPROOF". The lid itself is well made, but the slide doesn't stay open when you tilt the tumbler to drink. Also, the slide is not designed for a tight seal and it leaks profusely when the tumbler is tilted and does not prevent leakage as stated. The lid will work with a straw as long as you don't tilt the tumbler as you drink.
