One of the best affordable gear tripod heads.
I have used the panning and ball tripod heads but for sheer precision nothing beats the gear heads...at least not for an affordable price. I highly recommend it.

Better than the old version
I loved the thunderbolt version on my old MacBook Pro.
I loved the G3 version even more on my new MacBook Pro.
Easy to use with my Canon HFG40 camcorder.
