Good Trimmer, but a Great Combo!
2 of 2 found this helpful I discussed with a professional hair dresser as to what would be a good fit for me to use at home. I wanted something to trim my hair, and something smaller for facial hair and other hard to reach areas. The recommendation was originally Andis. They said they used to by Wahl all the time, but felt they had slipped a bit in quality. However, the one exception was the Wahl All Star, which they said was still a solid choice. When asked which of the two I should get, she said she actually leaned toward the Wahl All Star, which was less expensive, but not the reason. The reason was because of the smaller "Peanut" that it came with. She said that little thing was awesome. After purchasing the Wahl All-Star, I can agree, the "Peanut" is awesome. And the larger "Designer" trimmer is working great as well. My needs and expectations were not high in the first place, but even still, I've very pleased with how these two trimmers perform for my home needs.

Not what I expected
So I thought this was the kind of background that goes inside the tank and is molded 3D. Instead, it is a hologram type 3D. It is flat and it goes on the outside of tank. Not a big deal really, but the image is much more blurry looking than what is on the site where I purchased it.

My favorite Victorinox Swiss Army knife so far!
I have several Swiss Army knives and this is my favorite so far. It has more useful tools than any other. I use for day to day stuff. When I'm camping I switch out to my "Champ" that has more outdoor tools. The light isn't super bright but gets the job done. I love the driver bits. Wish they had a few options for other bits. The pliers have been handy but take a little getting used to. Unlike some, I do use the corkscrew for bottles of wine. Magnifying glass is handy too but I haven't seen if it could start a fire yet. You'll appreciate the standard scissors, knives,and screw drivers too. I haven't used the can opener yet. I'm skeptical it will work as good as my Army issued one but we'll see. I highly recommend this knife to anyone who tinkers with electronics. You'll think it's a little bulky at first but you quickly get used to it.
