Great show but packaging is lacking

When it was opened the inside of the box was damaged looking, the dvd boxes themselves were also damaged and the discs had what seemed to be dust on them? Which is strange since this was listed as new. However, I remember this set coming with a “Bimford” tape measure in the inside of the lid (when it was first released) and this didn’t have that. So, I’m not 100% convinced this was “brand new”. However, my husband has enjoyed watching the old show we enjoyed when we were younger and we can look past the damage for the deal we received.
