advantage SDS
Hammer drills with standard chucks hammer the chuck with the drill bit into the concrete. WIth the SDS / SDS plus chucks the drill bit can move in the chuck and only the drill bit is hammered. The hammer drill machine is heavier but you do not have to push it forward (like you have to push a hammer drill with a standard chuck), a big advantage when you stand on a chair.
This model in particular looks well-built and durable,I made the first dozen of holes with much less effort and I am happy with it. It comes without a depth guide (but these off-axis feelers do not give exact results anyhow).

What if the neighbour has the same?
1 of 1 found this helpful If you are a bit out of luck, both buttons will ring at both places.
If you are out of luck, the neighbour threw his out (but his kids asked for the button to play with). Mine rang for no detectable reason.
There is a good microswitch in the button, so I kept the button for a wired bell.
It is sold with exaggerated claims about the distance between the button and the bell still working - no use to carry the bell in the garden behind the house.
And you will have to check the batteries all the time.
And I do not like the melodies available (a few dozens).
