Number the Stars is an Excellent book for all ages!
Actually I bought this book because I heard that Sean Astin was going to do a movie of it. I really respect him and can't wait to see his major film directorial debut of this film. I wanted to know what it was about, only knowing it was about World War II and the Jewish people. It is a wonderful story of hope and people helping their fellow people. It is written more for children, but the story is so wonderful that adults can enjoy it also! I think children of all ages can relate to this story--and it helps to teach them history as well. And gives values, like doing the right thing even when it is not easy! I highly recommend this book!

With Anthony Perkins in it, how could you go wrong watching it?
I could only find this film on VHS so bought this one. It has Anthony Perkins in it as a vampire, a sorta good guy vampire. Mia Sara plays his daughter looking for him when her Mother dies. It is filmed in Romania and Perkins talks with a Romanian accent (ala Bela Lugosi)-but he makes it work. Obviously this film is dated--however I thought it was better than the current SyFy channel's New Movie of the Week. Mia Sara is good as the daughter, and the story is a bit more unusual than you might think. One thing was weird, the vampires have a "different" way to drink blood not their teeth! If you like vampire films, then by all means you will like this one. If you like Anthony Perkins--well then you must not miss this one! It's nice to see him portray this sympathetic character instead of the ususal psycho!

PRETTY POISON is a treat start to finish!
With Anthony Perkins in it, I had to see this film with him co-starring with Tuesday Weld. I was not dissappointed, in fact found it quite excellent! The story is quirky, and tho Anthony plays a character who has just gotten out of a mental institution and is a bit nutty, in time we find there are more psycho's running around in the world than him! This is a black comedy, and very enjoyable! I'd say it was one of Perkins better films. Although the film is from 1968, it can stand up there with todays films. It's very excellently done, and I deffinately would watch it over and over again--in fact once you know the ending it will be fun to watch all over again!
