YAMAHA TTR230 TTR-230 TT-R230 CARBURETOR REBUILD KIT REPAIR 05-09 CARB

    Good, but could be better.
The parts all fit, but it seems that there is a mix of parts for other bikes in the package which threw me off when changing them out. I felt that it was lacking in some components. Mainly the accelerator pump diaphragm, the main nozzle, and the needle. Summary- good kit, missing some important parts though.

    Some parts don't fit
This kit has caused a fair amount of irritation because two of the biggest parts didn't fit. The sear spring and recoil spring didn't fit on the gun. The sear spring was about 1/16 too short so the end of the spring didn't rest on the sear so I had to keep the original. The recoil spring was interesting.its about an inch longer and visibly smaller diameter to the original. This caused it to scrape against the guide rod. When I pushed the spring cap into position, it stopped about 1/8in and the guide rod wouldn't seat. Again, I just kept the original. Except today I tried to put the recoil spring in and sent my spring cap flying to parts unknown. The recoil spring is useless, the sear spring is useless, and because the recoil spring didn't fit correctly, I'm out a spring cap and have to buy a new one.
