Might Work
To get this to not slip it is recommended to apply lock tight to the shaft. The set screw did not hold to the shaft and I wasn't about to "permanently" mount this to my pedal. So not sure if this would improve the feel or not. Poor design.

Must Have
I am an orchestral percussionist. I do not spend hours practicing thumb rolls or trying to get the perfect amount of bee's wax on my tambourine heads. These roll rings make thumb rolls so easy and dependable. Plus provide a minimal amount of overtone control. All of the other percussionists I have worked with have bought these to make their life easier. Simple to apply and transfer to other tambourines. But I have purchased one for each of my tambourines.

Excellent Mount
This is my favorite way to mount an LP jam block on my drum set. I use it with a Tama Fast Clamp attached to my hi-hat stand. It provides plenty of clearance and height. You can also adjust the angle of the jam block. What is also nice is when I tear down I can leave the small Tama Fast Clamp on my hi-hat stand and simply remove this arm to easily store both in my trap case. It could also work well for cowbells as advertised. But for drum set I mount an LP Ridge Rider Bell on my bass drum and an LP Salsa Timbale Bell on my floor tom.
