Good Tool
I bought three of these for a project. The price was right and the variable speed plus quiet operation are perfect for my application. These would be a decent second or third router for a hobbyist, though maybe a bit underpowered for some operations. Ease of handling could make this a go-to tool for quick edge rounding or chamfering. Very nice tool.

Good Value.
As others have stated in reviews I’ve read, the castings aren’t finished especially well and the machined surfaces are a touch rough. The advantages of this machine far outweigh the minor finish issues.
The ability to locate the workpiece with some precision puts this mortiser in a class by itself in this price range. The X-Y adjustments are smooth and the clamp for the workpiece is a plus. My Shop Fox mortiser lacks the features that make this machine stand out from other bench top mortisers.
Others have mentioned that the included chisels are not the best. A bit of polishing should help. All in all, this machine works well for my purposes—mostly sash making with soft woods. If I needed to cut 3/4” mortises in white oak I’d probably need to spend more money on a more powerful machine. Good value for the price.
