Parallel tracking turntable
This is the second generation from Revox. Initially I was concerned about the decision to build the tracking mechanism into the lid, rather than base. However, this avoids some mechanical issues, but increases the wiring complexity. When purchase two issue were identified - probably common. The belt between tracking screw and motor was hardening and brittle. - it was changed. The stylus was damaged in transit and a replacement fitted - there are many sources stocking this stylus. Now the unit is in near perfect order with only a few age - related marks on the acrylic cover. The quality of design and simplicity of implementation make this a great project for refurbishment and ongoing enjoy,ent.
