A Well Kept Secret For Mic'ing Drums
First off, the photo that is currently posted on this review by ebay is actually the successor of the ATM25 (the photo shows an Audio-Technica ATM250).
The discontinued ATM25 is an outstanding mic for live sound reinforcement. It is hands down my favorite tom and snare mic. I also use the ATM25 on most of my bass drums and gong bass drum as well. On occasion I will pull out its little cousin--the ATM23HE--for an auxiliary snare drum and toms 12" or less in diameter.
To my ear it produces such a natural representation of the drum's tone that the ATM25 is my "go to" mic for all my drums.

The Chuck Norris of Flat Base Stands
I already own a number of the DW 6710 straight cymbal flat base stands and love them. I finally got around to picking up a pair of DW 6700 Boom Arm flat base stands and they are great. Nothing at all like my cheap 1960's flat base hardware which had a tendency to collapse and crash on the floor. The DW 6000 series are rock solid, relatively lightweight and hold up great. I wouldn't consider using anything else.

Everyone Deserves A Close Shave
After decades using another brand razor I switched on a whim to Gillette and am I glad I did. The Mach3 blade provides a closer shave and cleans much easier. The Limited Edition is a great package deal. My wife even got excited about the included Razor Stand. If I could change only one thing--and I would be willing to pay the price difference--I would like to see the razor handle come in solid stainless steel. But still, this is a great set as is.
