It failed all of my expectations!
1 of 2 found this helpful I returned it after a week of failure to perform. My intent was to copy the recorded movies from my DirecTV dvr. The VRD-MC6 would record live broadcast via the dvr but wouldn't record my prerecorded movies. Sony said that the problem was write protection from the dvr. DirecTV said the only protection they use is for items recorded from Pay Per View, so the problem must be within the Sony unit. Since I have used analog to digital capture hardware in the past with the DirecTV dvr without problems when feeding directly to my laptop computer, I believed that the Sony unit was not doing its job.

I'm saving money with it each time I use it.
Great seller and a Great coffee maker. I used to use 3 scoops in my 12 cup coffee maker to brew a mug. Now I only need to use 2 to make an even slightly stronger mug.
