Great Speakers for old Phono players!
2 of 2 found this helpful Although this brand touts itself as part of the computer audio revolution, I find that these speakers are wonderfully compatible with my old phono player. What I needed was ONLY a pair of quailty powered speakers to plug my phono player into and this completely fit the bill. Fortunately, my phono player has a built in pre amp and I was able to plug the phono RCA cables directly into the back of the active speaker. I turned on the power and the sound was coming out in minutes. These speakers are of such good quality that I literally told my wife, "I feel like i'm listening to some of these records for the first time." That's how well these speakers pick up subtle sounds stuck in the grooves of my old records. I highly recommend these.
