Great if you're not a beginner.....
This book is filled with great patterns to make cute little toys. There are twenty patterns here that would delight anyone although this is not recommended as a gifting item for little children as there are small parts than can easily fall.
One thing that anyone who is interested on buying this should have some knowledge of crocheting. This should not (not yet that is) be bought by someone who is still beginning on this craft.
The book did contains information about making the foundation chain and basic crochet stitches (slip, single, half-double, and magic ring). This is how the book fails for beginners. The diagrams for each crochet stitches are not enough for those beginning. Very thankful that Youtube videos can supplement this failure of the book.

Great for the money
Great book for those exploring a new king of crochet crafts. This is absolutely not for beginners. I had hard time with the instructions, but it all worked good after some Youtube videos.
