expire march 2029
Marked March 2029 for a 10 year battery. Everything I have put them in seems to work fine. Haven't aged enough to run down yet to determine how long they last.

cuts well
Except for the fact that the handles are plastic ( very strong and thick plastic so not a problem ) these are similar, work and feel like the one in Mom's sewing box for 50 years. Apparently Mom was wrong about how things don't grow 2 legs and walk away because that must have been what happened to her's. They are heavy but how could they not be they are pinking sheers and the blades need to be thick. These are sharp and feel right as they cut through material easily.
