Haunting
A very different kind of ghost story. Both sad and beautiful. Not for the jump scare crowd, but for those reflecting on life and loss. Will stay with you.

Another journey well worth taking.
Not quite as long as some of her past Series, but you cannot go past joanna lumley. She is ever present in the moment, and is never patronising. Her delight in being around interesting, ordinary folks is infectious. Very happy to recommend hidden Caribbean and any other travel documentary by this lovely human being.

No Extras. Good transfers, 2 in black and white, 3 in colour.
We have seen several Ozu Films over the past few years, including the amazing "Tokyo Story",
so we knew the type of film we were expecting with the Late Ozu Collection. His style may not be to all tastes, but with his careful, respectful studies of ordinary Japanese working people negotiating
their lives through familiar issues of work, marriage, generational changes, infidelity etc, often against the backdrop of an older Japan emerging into a modern, postwar world, Ozu shows us
that things are the same the world over and that there is much to relate to in our own lives. Be warned, Ozu films can be very slow, and there is a lot of talk and no action, but we find them to be
rewarding and very beautiful. Several of these are in colour also which was a nice surprise.
Highly recommended to those who enjoy thoughtful, human cinema.
