2 of 2 found this helpful Easy to assemble and use however, the dust extraction function for which I bought this product is totally ineffectual despite the replacement bag supplied by the retailer upon notification of this malfunction. Under this tools description section Features and Benefits is the following description "Cleaner and safer working dust collection bag and dust port adaptor for use with vacuum extraction". As a keen wood worker I advise you not to be misled by this statement if you only have a small workshop and need a clean and safe working environment.
Summary, this is a good product except for the dust extraction function and I would recommend it but only if dust extraction is not of importance.

Not my workmate.
Having previously been the proud owner of an earlier model which lasted in excess of 25 years I have little faith in this new model with its plastic bits and relatively lightweight steel matching my earlier product.
Pros & Cons:-
Horizontal clamping facility possibly useful however the same facility is achieved with G clamps which will not malfunction.
Plastic parts have replaced sturdy metal parts, not very reassuring of a long lifespan, accompanied with a warning of not to tighten too much.
Night extending feet no longer lock off when in the closed position.
Have had to adapt using original components to secure the rear table in a fixed position.
Would not recommend at any price.
