A Wonderful Story For Animal Lovers of All Ages
I would highly recommend this book for all ages. I learned so much about owls and all that was involved in raising this particular one, from when he was a few days old until he passed away at almost 19 years old. He could not have asked for a better life or a better owner who loved him so much but still allowed him to be an owl. He had a wing injury so could not survive on his own in the wild but was allowed to be an owl as much as possible thanks to the author's dedication to him. The author is a very knowledgeable biologist and she and Wesley had many wonderful years together. The book itself is an easy and fun read and has photos of Wesley from when he was a little baby into adulthood.
