Great lighter laptop for artists
5 of 5 found this helpful This laptop is perfect for an artist or anyone who wants something they can use for lighter graphic work on the go. I got the Samsung pen to go with it because the stylus it comes with is a tiny phone stylus, okay if you need it for quick notes (or you left your good one at home.)
The feel of drawing on the screen is excellent, a little slippery but way more natural than drawing on the surface pro or hp or Lenovo. The battery life is great, I get 8+ hours out of it for light use, a little less if I'm running Photoshop or playing the Sims. I don't notice the fan noise much at all, it really only kicks in when I've got a lot running or I've got it in tablet mode in my lap. The speakers aren't the greatest, but I think that has more to do with placement, as they just get muffled on some surfaces or in tent mode.
It runs it pretty fast for a 2-in 1, only getting a little laggy in Photoshop if I have too many other apps running. It's powerful enough it can handle Sims4 on high graphics just fine, and I can minimize the game, look up a video online, and switch back to the game quickly without a problem.
They only thing I don't like so far is the location of the power button, it's on the side so it gets pressed by accident sometimes.
I'd say its a perfect if you want more laptop than tablet but still need it to be light and portable, and if you are into art or note taking.
