Go Film: Either Leica or Nikon. Be real instead of virtual
You can't see poetry with digital, get a film camera and make each moment count.

Nikonos film camera is wonderful
For the more experienced film photographers or for those wishing to learn through experience.
I recommend pushing color slide to 400 (2x).
Set focus close to infinity, f8, 1/125 for 1 to 10 feet from surface in strong sun.
Drop 1/60 for lower light or direct sun between 10 and 30 feet.
Exhale while releasing the shutter to minimize buoyancy.
Don't be afraid to experiment and to use B&W film when photographing other divers or swimmers from below.
You will never be able to predict the the photograph you get, but you will not be disappointed.
