The dangers of counterfeits
I had decided to purchase some gold and decided the quarter eagle was for me and I really enjoyed the design of the Indian head type over the coronet style so opted to get one.
I had read, in fact an article was published the same month in coin values, about the unique design but the high levels of counterfeiting involved with this coin.
However I felt confidant I could find one if there were highly detailed pictures and opted to buy one.
The coin arrived and so I went to a long time local dealer to have it graded. He confirmed an EF grading but believed it to be counterfeit, as he has dealt in coins for over 30 years. Though he did find interest in the coin due to the fact it was gold and so no wanting something less than genuine, sold it to him. I informed the seller of this and went on my way.
My advice is to only buy these coins certified and by a major name like NGC or PCGS.
It will cost more but worth the money

The best version of a great trilogy

Are these the best versions of the films? Absolutely in every regard. The audio track is reference quality and the details visually are top notch. Some serious videophiles will say the digital noise reduction ruins the film aspect. I knew what to look for yet in the context of watching straight through I didn’t see them. The colors were fixed to be closer to the theater release. Overall a great choice just don’t overpay for them

a well made glass for that special dram
I bought this as I wanted to see what the fuss was about concerning the glencairn glass, since everything pointed toward this if you were to be taken seriously as a whisky drinker, at least if you were to rate and review them.
This particular glass is listed as the official glencairn glass and in my case, was the 2 pack version. One was going to me while the other would be for a friend. The box arrived undamaged and the thick cardboard and the dividers inside protected the glasses upon arrival.
I feel the material, the glass itself, is definitely high quality as it certain made a distinctive ping when I tapped it, as well as its overall heft despite being rather small. The base was thick and smooth while the walls are thin, though not too thin that it feels too delicate. The feature of this glass really is the opening, which is a good deal more narrow than the bottom, and it's this design I am to understand which helps one nose the whisky better. The smaller opening concentrating the aromas to a finer point, letting less escape.
Did it work? I have no idea, though I am told it will. So it's not bad by any means and I suspect is totally worth it for those that are really wanting to get the best profile down. I am not that guy, but I also wasn't disappointed I bought it. And that's because I may be able to get there at some point and I will have the right tool for the job. In the meantime, I have a cool glass to look at and pour me a little something in.
