Good concept but Tidal function is screwy
2 of 2 found this helpful I bought the watch as a supplement to my dive gear. I wanted to have a an on the fly tidal reference but Casio doesn't tell you the software doesn't work in places like the gulf of Mexico where there are only 1 high and 1 low tide per 24 hrs. The software model is based on 2 tide cycles per 24 hrs. Thus ineffective for my area.

Oceanic Gt3 and CDX5
Good solid budget minded regs. If you buy them new old stock or used you need to go to the Oceanic website because there are safety recalls on the CDX5 for High Pressure seat replacements and for the ones with DVT there is a red plunger inside the first stage that may need to be replaced. Both under warranty but a pain unless you get a great deal. Just get the serial #s prior to bidding and enter them on the Oceanic site to see if they are worth buying. Mine needed retrofitting with new parts.
