If you like historical landscape photography, you will want this book.
I am a photographer, and interested in history. WH Jackson was a very historical figure, having made thousands of glass plate photos of the US, for the government. I had just read "Double Exposure" which was Jackson's autobiography. From there I wanted to read this bio from Beaumont Newhalll. This book is heavily illustrated with Jackson's photos, whereas his own book was not so much.

WHEELS remastered for CD sounds fantastic
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm 51, and loved this album as a kid. It came out in 1961. I dug the old vinyl out of my dad's collection, but it was too worn out to play. I was thrilled to find it was available on CD.
It sounds crisp and clean, a way I haven't heard it in over 35 years.
One thing to note is the title. The original vinyl album was titled "Pick A Hit Featuring Wheels" by The String -A- Longs. This was only one of several albums put out by the String A Longs in the 1960's. But the CD is the identical collection of songs, but now titled "The Very Best Of The String-A-Longs Featuring Wheels"
The disc is a very short 26 minutes. But the nostalgia from those 12 tracks vastly outweighs its brevity. This is one of the best finds I've come across on ebay in a long time.

Basic loupe.
What can I say? It's a loupe. A basic all purpose close up viewer. A good value for a good product. If you have negs to read, or shoot photos with a large format camera, it's very handy for fine focusing.
