What Should One have Expected?
Plug it in the wall, plug it into the back of a Mac Mini that you know works. If it powers up, then the adapter does what it is supposed to; if not, then the power adapter is bad or the mini has just crapped out. What else is there to be evaluated. The Mini powered up and is still running to this hour. What else would one expect from this product?

Almost a Logitech Marble Trackball....but Not Quite
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a LARGE trackball, which is perfect for any operation requiring detailed operation (CAD, Painting, etc.) as well as general everyday usage. The 4 triggering buttons are well placed and responsive, the whole housing is quite ergonomically designed for an extraordinarily comfortable fit - regardless if you have small hands and fingers, or large paws like me.
The scroll ring is the high point of this trackball, since it is not a mouse, there is no scrolling wheel. Almost all other trackballs have no ability to scroll except to move the ball along the drawbar - and most trackballs' ball is too small to be delicate enough to just move a line at a time. The scroll ring acts just like a scroll wheel on a mouse and is extremely accurate.
So why the 4 stars instead of 5? You have to CONSTANTLY clean the trackball ball for a smooth operation. I have never had to clean a Logitech trackman Marble ball, but this Kensington requires constant cleaning to operate smoothly. But, then again, the Logitech model isn't even close to being ass accurate as this Kensington, which is why I purchased the Kensington in the first place.
For everyday computing, get the Logitech. For detailed applications, this is the ONLY trackball - get the Kensington!!

Top Dog!
Slot loading Optical players are known to be problematical, this model optical player is exceptionally reliable, and reads everything I ask of it. It is sturdy and stable enough to hold its position on the desk or shelf without self-walking off during disk insertion or disk ejection. And the intended performance. The short and sweet of it: you could spend more for more expensive optical players, but you would truly be wasting your money - this LG player is the only one that you will ever need!
