Magnificent biography of Beethoven
This is a wonderful biography of Beethoven whose work has enriched the lives of millions of people. Although there are many fine biographies of Beethoven, this one is especially
interesting because of the many details of his life not found in many others. He is
especially interesting in giving a plausible identity to the "immortal beloved," the woman
with whom Beethoven is believed to have had an intense relationship.

Mencken at his best
H.L.Mencken at his best. Largely devoid of his political and cultural polemics, it provides a
beautiful description of his younger days in the then lovely city of Baltimore.

Excellent sound quality and price for Audio-Technica headphones
2 of 2 found this helpful I had Audio-Technica headphones for many years but had to replace them recently. The new
ones are bigger and heavier than the older ones but I don't know how these compare with
other brands.The headphones produce excellent sound for the kind of music I generally play (classical).
The noise-cancelling feature works very well, but I have yet to try them on a jet airplane.
As an older guy I'm not aware of any high frequency issues, if there are any.
The price I paid on eBay was very reasonable compared to other brands.
