Catches seed and enables cardinals to us...

Catches seed and enables cardinals to use the tube feeder. Nice size, larger than the usual 7 1/2" tray and definitely preferable. Peridically, you need to be sure the nut which fastens the tray to the feeder is tight, as it tends to loosen over time. I'm pleased with this purchase.
