Decent, not great
Installation was relatively simple. Noticed that the original focus lights aren't there. The microprisms and split screen work, but the etching quality isn't great. The split screen etching has jagged edges where the two halves come together. It does, however, do the job and makes fine manual focusing easier than the original frosted screen. Nice to see that auto-focus still works and that the prisms and split line up when autofocus thinks it's correct.

Works well - with reservations when connected to docking station
Using it with a QHD monitor and an HDMI cable. I'm using a dell USB-C dock and have windows 10. The system recognized the device immediately and installed the drivers automatically. That's good, since the CD that came with the device was broken due to being shipped in a non-padded envelope. In operation, the monitor was recognized and displayed in native resolution without issue. Please note that at 2560x1440 that thus unit only supports 1440p at 50Hz. Depending on the monitor you are using, this might result in visible flicker, especially when used next to a 60Hz monitor. Another annoyance - no fault of the device - is that if I take my laptop to a meeting and the plug it back in, since it's connected to a dock, it's not always recognized. I'll blame Dell/Microsoft for that. I'd like to get a good copy of the drivers that are on the CD, as they might have code to circumvent my issues. In the mean time, I can recommend this unit as it does get the job done.

Great headphones
Great price/performance.
