furnace or A/C thermostat

The product seems to be as represented, however the info available on the web site needs more detail.. While it can control either a furnace or an A/C system, it doesn't seem to be able to control a freezer. This compounded by very poor setup instructions. My application is not typical, and I'm learning about how thermostats work. ed
