Nothing says history like coins and stamps.
A little piece of Venetian Republic History for cheap. I bought this coin along with some others to glue onto a panel with Italian and Vatican (and Austrian) Venetian-themed postage stamps. These are framed and hung amid my venetian-themed framed photos from our Italy trip 2 years ago.
Notably, only 3 years after this coin was struck, Napoleon abolished the Venetian Republic for good !

Interesting Background on the Bay of Naples Volcanology(PompeiiHerculaneum)
In 2010 we visited Naples and Pompeii. This DVD was an invaluable follow-up describing the Bay of Naples Volcanology and History of Vesuvius and the other volcanic activities.
I especially enjoyed the discussions of Pompeii and Herculaneum. Although we visited Pompeii, the site is large and some things in this film we missed seeing in person.
The other interesting discussion involves the vulnerability of the greater Metropolitan Naples and the challenges effecting a credible evacuation when Vesuvius does erupt again which is certain.

This Item is "No Pain, No Gain" Gone Wild For Your Back
2 of 2 found this helpful If you like the idea of some NFL Defensive Lineman pressing and rolling 2 Bowling Bowls up and down your back, you need one of these. I'm hoping I can install this in one my chairs behind the foam padding to shield it's action to a therapeutic level.
