VW Westy takes Eight
So I bought these to replace the rusty ones on my 84 VW Westy luggage rack. They aren't as thick as the originals, and I had to drill out the holes on the loops to fit the hardware I bought. My biggest over sight was only buying six. You need 8 for the luggage rack. So any challenges were of my creation. I definitely do recommend for what I used them for- just buy enough!

Great for multiple applications! Camping, dorm, home....
The only draw back to this product is you have to assemble by picture and trial and error. Other than that, it is sturdy enough for what it is made of. I bought it for camping, but if I could go back in time, I would have had this and another or two for my furniture in grad school, and continued using it. It can be placed in the pictured orientation or on its side (not pictured in ad, but I think its on the box), and the aluminum top is nice because you could set a hot something down without ruining the whole thing. Quality seems good. I paid a bit more than I would have if I had shopped around, but it probably balances out the shipping expense of my seller. Overall, I have to recommend checking out all of Ozarks products.

Not quite sure
1 of 2 found this helpful OK. I bought this item with the intention of using it in a Vintage RV with a burn proof surface underneath and a MaxxAir vent fan in the ceiling above it. I have not tried it yet, but I have read the directions. According to those, I have bought something with the destructive ability of a nuclear weapon. Now, it is altogether possible that they are simply written to try to legally protect manufacturer and distributer against stupidity (like using it in a tent, sitting on a surface made of fireplace logs with the tent zipped.) I'm really not sure if it will work for my application, but I will try it, I will have a fire extinguisher nearby, it will be supervised, and the fan will be on. The product has the heft and fit and feeling of a well made product. It simply may be more like a rocket engine than a propane burner. That remains to be seen.
