Alcohol Lamp
Machined from aluminum it looks like it came straight off of a metal lathe with excellent quality fit and finish.
The supplied wick incorporates a copper strand that binds a fibreglass wick material, that wicks up the alcohol well and shows very little wear after a couple of uses.
The cap seals well and can be used to snuff the lamp, and a rubber gasket is included to seal the lower alcohol reservoir to the upper wick holder.
It’s small, and after a couple of burns the alcohol level dropped noticeably.
There is a vent hole beside the wick, so if you carry this on it’s side or upside down, you can expect alcohol to leak out into the cap, and after removing the cap to light it, raw alcohol may cover the surface of the wick holder. Call this a leak if you will, but it means that your burn time is now subject to how much alcohol you lose in transport. Potentially as much as the cap can hold. It’s not a deal breaker.
The cap and wick holder could use some knurling as it is easy to tighten them, but harder to get them off if you used too much force tightening them.
In use it can be blown out or snuffed and is not affected much by light winds.
It needs to remain vertical as alcohol will leak out of the vent hole and catch fire.
The quality is excellent as is the supplied wick, and it is easy to use, refill and carry. I’m happy with it.

Description wrong
Holds only 300ml at full capacity, only 250ml usable capacity.
I purchased specifically 400ml based on the description, so this is wasted money when I receive something that won’t work for the application intended.

Simmer ring or heat diffuser
I intend to use this for use with butane and white gas camping stoves to achieve heat dispersal for cooking more delicate foods that would be harmed by "hot spots".
My only niggle is that the screen is folded over on the corners and tends to bind up with the other screens in the package, or to catch on the fabric of the storage bag that I am using.
The ceramic is flexible and much less likely to crack and breakaway than I had thought.
