Easy to use.
The 91A is one of my go to mics for kick drums. It is a Shure so if you step on it or drop it it will keep working.

Solid and roadworthy.
I have used the Shure 56 for a long time, since it was first released. It is reliable even when a drummer waks the thing. I have seen this mic droped, thrown, and yes, used as a hammer and it works and sounds good after all the abuse. This mic is one of my go to mics for toms and I really like it for drummer vocals as it stay out of the way of flailing arms and stixs.
The tone is not flattered like some "drum mics" and for me this gives it more versatility. I can use it for a metal concert one day, a recording session with some as players, or take it out for outdoor orchestra concerts,and it always gives a good account of itself.

Perfect fit
These elastic bands are perfect for the Shure KSM44 suspension mount, for which they were made. Buy the way they do not make any sound of themselves.
