Cure your slice with this Beauty AND the Beast!
I have played a fade cum slice with my drivers for many years. It was a nice "power fade" when I found the center of the clubface...but got out of control with miss-hits. I embarked on a quest to use modern club technology to straighten things out a bit. Started with M3 440 9* and stiff shaft. Too hard to hit for a high handicapper. Switched to M3 460 9.5* regular shaft. Again didn't work for me...and I was baffled. Bought M4 460 D-Type with regular shaft...and Voila! Epiphany time! Eliminated 98% of my slice and gained 20-30 yards from the get-go. Now I aim at my target which is usually the center of the fairway. The slightly hooded clubface counters the slice tendency very effectively...WITHOUT having to overhaul your swing. Works for me and should for you too under similar circumstances. My setup is a stock M4 D-Type head on a Tensei White regular shaft with Lamkin Oversize Crossline grip. It's a beauty...and truly a Beast too! Enjoy the ride!
