Trouble
It feels great in my hand, the price is good, but I had one burn up (melted the hose) and one that plugged up in the torch head. I have another new one ready to install but bought a new machine
(Miller Dynasty 280 DX) so this one will be sold with my four year old "reliable" AHP. I had another failure, the short piece of copper tube at the torch end of the power hose cracked.

Pretty is as pretty does.
1 of 1 found this helpful It's very pretty, but it comes with a printed appology or an excuse, as to why it's so limited in it's function.
The excuse says; it would be too expensive to make it fully functional.
I'm not a professional machinist, I'm a welder. I have been gearing up to more accuracy in my work, but I'm becoming aware that Starrett's hi class reputation is often undeserved.

Retired Pro
It's kind of light duty but it works and the price is right. It replaced the expensive ($90) Nikon
model that lasted 10 years. More than just the money but the weight, The Nikon is a big heavy hunk of stuff.
I think I'll buy a spare.
