Proraso--the Lowenbrau of shave soaps...cheap but good
Proraso is like 90% as good as the absolute top-of-the-line soaps for 50-75% of the price. Sandalwood is my favorite Proraso scent. There are better sandalwood soaps, but this one is totally decent. It's slick and lathers up fine, right in the included cup. When it's gone, mash a stick of Arko in there for the bestest, cheapest shave ever.

basic clock radio that is not a total POS
6 of 6 found this helpful This is exactly the kind of device I wanted to replace a very shoddy generic radio that was having all kinds of problems related to very poor QC. It's a tastefully understated electronic device from a respected--if no longer venerated--electronics manufacturer.
So how does the Sony stack up? User interface isn't all that bad, display has three luminosity settings (amber color is optimum for minimizing sleep/melatonin disruption, BTW,) audio is "clock-radio quality" aka pretty bad...but it works as advertised. No timekeeping errors noted as yet. Not bad, I just hope it holds up.

in Mother Russia, Voskhod blade shaves YOU
Best blades for the money. Not excruciatingly sharp, but not dull either. I can get 4-5 shaves from a blade, week after week, month after month. No wierd QC issues, you get the same shave every time, reliably and CHEAPLY. Don't be put off by the mid-80's USSR packaging; Voskhod is premier DE razor blade of glorious Russian motherland.
