Loved every moment of it
Lots of entertaining bits in this. History explained. Loved it. For the real Star Trek fan. The new cast is very good, without imitating the originals.

Wonderful book
Never knew about any of this. Amazing story. Could not put it down and by the way, the movie is also wonderful.

Wonderful show
I loved the West Wing, the actors, the acting and the writing and direction. Aaron Sorkin is a genius. I bought the shows season by season, last year, always looking for a good price on e-buy. The series, itself is priceless. If you like politics and well written, well acted shows, this is for you. I am a Democrat, but the show tries to give a balance of ideas. Their staff includes people who worked for Democrats and Republicans. One thing most Americans don't remember, is that until Reagan came into office, folks on the hill worked for a Democrat for several years and if he or she lost an election, they went and worked for a Republican and vice versa. That was before things were so politicized.
If you want to see a well written, well acted show with humor, drama and pathos, this is the series for you. I only have two other series on DVD, "Yes Minister" from the BBC, which is howlingly funny and "Homicide Life on the Street", a wonderful, the best cop show ever on tv. It's the best show you never watched.
